Project-Based Recruitment (August–December 2026)

The Family Planning Association of India (FPAI) invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following project-based positions under the project:
Project Title - "Techno-Managerial Support for Strengthening the Implementation of Newer Contraceptive Initiatives in Madhya Pradesh."
The appointments are purely contractual for a period of five (5) months (August–December 2026).

1. District Coordinator (04 Positions)
Vacancies:
* Gwalior – 01
* Bhopal – 01
* Indore – 01
* Jabalpur – 01

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and qualification.

Essential Qualification
* Master's degree in Public Health (MPH), Social Work (MSW), Health Management, or any other relevant postgraduate qualification.
* Minimum 3 years of field experience in Reproductive Health, Family Planning, or National Health Mission (NHM) programmes.
* Working knowledge of English, Hindi, and computers (MS Office, email, reporting, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
* Lead district-level programme planning, coordination, and implementation.
* Coordinate with Chief Medical & Health Officers (CMHOs), Medical Colleges, District Health Officials, and other stakeholders.
* Organize orientation and capacity-building programmes for frontline health workers.
* Support district-level IEC/BCC and mid-media activities.
* Facilitate the implementation of newer contraceptive initiatives, including Clinical Implants and Antara SC services.
* Prepare programme reports, maintain documentation, and ensure timely submission of project deliverables.
* Provide regular monitoring and supportive supervision of programme activities.

2. Family Planning Counsellor (03 Positions)
Vacancies:
* Gwalior – 01
* Bhopal – 01
* Jabalpur – 01

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and qualification.
Essential Qualification
* Graduate/Postgraduate in Psychology, Sociology, Counselling, Social Work, or any related discipline.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in counselling in a clinical, hospital, or public health setting.
* Working knowledge of English, Hindi, and computers (MS Office, email, reporting, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide voluntary, rights-based family planning counselling to eligible clients.
* Promote awareness and informed choice regarding spacing methods and newer contraceptive options.
* Generate demand for quality family planning services.
* Maintain client records and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
* Coordinate with healthcare providers and support project implementation at health facilities.
General Eligibility
* Relevant work experience in the health or development sector will be preferred.
* Good communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
* Ability to travel within the assigned district.
* Minimum one year of computer experience is essential.
Terms & Conditions
* These positions are purely project-based and contractual for a period of five (5) months (August–December 2026).
* The appointment will automatically terminate upon completion of the project.
* This engagement does not confer any right to regular or permanent employment with the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI).

Project Overview
The project, "Techno-Managerial Support for Strengthening the Implementation of Newer Contraceptive Initiatives in Madhya Pradesh," aims to support the Government of Madhya Pradesh, in collaboration with BGMS and UNFPA, in strengthening the implementation and scale-up of newer family planning methods, including the Single-Rod Subdermal Contraceptive Implant and Antara SC (SC-DMPA). The project focuses on strengthening programme management, capacity building of healthcare providers, supportive supervision, quality assurance, monitoring, and behaviour change communication to improve access to quality, rights-based family planning services and expand informed contraceptive choice across the project districts.
