For its staff, ChildFund India intends renewal of GMC & GPA POLICIES- TOTAL STAFF – 156. For FY 26/27

Renewal of medical and Accidental policy.
DETAILS as follows-
GMC-Medical Health Policy
Period: 25-09-2026 - 24-09-2027
Sum Insured type: Floater basis per family (1+5)
Floater Sum insured Rs.500,000/-
Corporate buffer Rs.10,00,000/-
Dental Benefit Rs.7500/- per family per annum.
Benefits as per expiring policy
GPA-Accidental Policy
Period: 25-09-2026 - 24-09-2027
As per existing policy (coverage equivalent to 50 times monthly gross salary)
As on date accidental death claim is Nil
Additional Benefits are an added advantage (Please list in detail those you can offer)

Option 1
· Quotation as per the terms and conditions of current policy.
Option 2
Additional separate proposals for the following enhanced coverage options for GMC:
1. OPD (Outpatient Department) coverage – Include doctor consultations, specialist visits, diagnostic tests, prescribed medications, and minor outpatient procedures (With a coverage cap & Without a coverage cap)
2. Increase the sum insured to ?6,00,000.
3. Explore the possibility of including in-laws and a third child as eligible dependents, with the additional premium to be borne by the respective employee.
4. Any other value-added features, optional riders, or enhancements available under group health insurance products
5. Eye care coverage – Eye check-ups, prescription glasses, contact lenses, and related treatments.
6. Mental health and well-being – Coverage for psychologist/psychiatrist consultations, counseling sessions, and wellness programs.

Evaluation Criteria
ChildFund India will evaluate proposals using a combined technical and financial evaluation approach. The evaluation criteria and indicative weightages are as follows:
A. Technical Evaluation – 70%
1. Comprehensiveness of Insurance Coverage – hospitalization benefits, sum insured options, pre/post hospitalization, day-care procedures, pre-existing disease coverage, room rent limits, exclusions, sub-limits, restoration benefits, maternity and other applicable benefits, OPD options, mental health support, counselling/EAP, teleconsultation, preventive health check-ups, wellness programmes, dental/optical benefits and other enhancements - 20%
2. Claims Management and Service Delivery Capability – claims settlement process, turnaround time, dedicated relationship manager, dedicated claims support, escalation mechanism, TPA/service model, grievance handling process - 15%
3. Experience, Organizational Capability, Policy Flexibility – IRDAI registration, years of experience, financial strength, group health insurance portfolio, experience with NGOs/development organizations/corporates, client references, ability to customize benefits, add/remove members, accommodate policy changes, renewal support and scalability

4. Digital Claims Management and Technology Capability – mobile app/web portal, online claim submission, e-card access, claim status tracking, employee self-service features, HR/Admin dashboard, MIS reports, digital communication and notifications - 10%
5. Hospital Network and Accessibility – number and quality of network hospitals, presence across locations where ChildFund India operates, cashless hospitalization availability
