Job Title: Café Manager/Supervisor – Blind Bake Café
Locations: Pune/Mumbai

Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Café Manager to lead the operations of our inclusive Blind Bake Café. The Café Manager will oversee all aspects of the café’s performance—operations, staff management, financial goals, and customer experience—while fostering an empowering, accessible, and inclusive environment for our visually impaired team members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead and inspire a diverse team of café staff, including visually impaired chefs and supervisors. Foster teamwork, motivation, and a positive work culture.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all daily café operations, ensuring efficiency, high-quality service, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
• Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer enjoys a welcoming, seamless, and inclusive service experience. Handle feedback and resolve escalations professionally.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets, sales targets, and cost controls. Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and organize regular training sessions to enhance staff performance and inclusion practices.
• Inventory & Vendor Management: Supervise inventory control, procurement, and supplier coordination to ensure smooth café operations.
• Accessibility & Inclusion: Maintain and promote an inclusive workspace. Make necessary adjustments to accommodate individual needs of blind and visually impaired staff.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and food handling regulations.

Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage or hospitality industry. Experience in inclusive or social enterprise settings preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of café operations, financial management, and team development.
• Certifications: Food safety certification (e.g., FSSAI) preferred. Basic life support/first aid training is an advantage.
• Attitude: Positive, empathetic, and committed to promoting inclusion, teamwork, and empowerment.
