Men Against Violence and Abuse (MAVA) is India's first men's organization working to engage boys and men in promoting gender equality, preventing gender-based violence, and fostering healthy, equitable masculinities.
Yuva Maitri is MAVA's youth mental health initiative, established to provide accessible, confidential, and professional psychosocial support to young people. Beyond the helpline, Yuva Maitri seeks to create a supportive ecosystem by engaging youth through awareness campaigns, partnerships, educational institutions, volunteer networks, and community outreach.

The Outreach & Communications Associate will play a key role in expanding the reach and visibility of MAVA's programs, particularly Yuva Maitri. The successful candidate will work closely with the Program Team to lead outreach initiatives, coordinate communications, manage digital platforms, and foster partnerships with educational institutions, youth organizations, volunteers, mental health professionals, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
? Master's degree in Social Work, Communications, Gender Studies, Psychology, Public Health, or a related discipline.
? 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in outreach, communications, program coordination, stakeholder engagement, or youth-focused programs.
? Demonstrated experience managing organizational social media platforms and implementing digital communication strategies.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Marathi.
? Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
? Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders including youth, volunteers, educational institutions, NGOs, donors, and community organizations.
? Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
? Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design platforms.
