Meri Awaz Trust is seeking a highly motivated, responsible and field-oriented Field Officer to support the implementation, coordination, monitoring and documentation of MAT's projects at the grassroots level. The Field Officer will be one of the primary representatives of MAT at project locations and will work directly with beneficiaries, communities, village institutions, local government functionaries, field partners, trainers, service providers and other stakeholders. The position is primarily a field-based role and requires extensive travel to villages, blocks, districts and other MAT project locations. The Field Officer will be responsible for ensuring that activities planned at the organizational level are effectively translated into quality implementation at the community level.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

A. FIELD-LEVEL PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

The Field Officer will:
• Implement assigned project activities according to approved project plans and timelines. • Prepare daily and weekly field activity plans in consultation with the Program Officer/Program Manager. • Ensure timely execution of project activities at village and community levels. • Coordinate field-level logistics required for implementation. • Maintain regular presence at assigned project locations. • Ensure project activities reach the intended beneficiaries. • Identify implementation challenges and immediately communicate them to the reporting officer. • Follow up on pending field activities and ensure their timely completion. • Ensure quality standards prescribed by MAT and the supporting CSR/donor partner are maintained.

B. COMMUNITY MOBILIZATION
• Mobilize communities and beneficiaries for project activities. • Conduct village-level meetings and awareness programmes. • Explain project objectives, activities, benefits and beneficiary responsibilities to communities. • Facilitate community participation and ownership of project interventions. • Mobilize participants for trainings, workshops, health camps, awareness programmes and other project events. • Encourage participation of women, vulnerable households and other priority groups. • Maintain regular communication with beneficiaries. • Support formation and strengthening of community groups wherever required.

C. BENEFICIARY IDENTIFICATION & VERIFICATION
The Field Officer will support transparent and systematic beneficiary selection by: • Conducting household and community-level surveys. • Identifying potential beneficiaries according to approved eligibility criteria. • Collecting required beneficiary information and documentation. • Physically verifying beneficiary details. • Preparing beneficiary lists and submitting them for approval. • Maintaining updated beneficiary databases and registers. • Preventing duplication of beneficiaries wherever applicable. • Supporting random verification by the M&E team, management, CSR partners or government authorities. • Maintaining proper consent and documentation wherever required.

D. FIELD SURVEY & DATA COLLECTION
• Conduct baseline, need-assessment and beneficiary surveys. • Collect quantitative and qualitative field data. • Administer questionnaires and survey formats. • Conduct beneficiary interviews and community consultations. • Support Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), where required. • Ensure accuracy and completeness of collected information. • Submit field data within prescribed timelines. • Support digital data collection through mobile applications, Google Forms, KoboToolbox/ODK or other platforms adopted by MAT. • Maintain confidentiality of beneficiary information.

E. COORDINATION WITH LOCAL STAKEHOLDERS
The Field Officer will maintain effective field-level coordination with, as applicable: • District and Block Administration; • Panchayati Raj Institutions; • Gram Panchayats and village representatives; • Government departments; • Anganwadi Workers and Helpers; • ASHA and ANM workers; • Government schools and teachers; • Farmer groups and FPOs; • Self-Help Groups (SHGs); • Community-Based Organizations (CBOs); • Local NGOs and implementing partners; • Training institutions; • Health facilities; and • Other relevant stakeholders. The Field Officer will represent MAT professionally during authorized field-level meetings and interactions.

TRAINING, MEETINGS & EVENT COORDINATION
The Field Officer will support the organization of: • Beneficiary training programmes; • Community awareness programmes; • Capacity-building workshops; • Farmer training programmes; • Women entrepreneurship programmes; • Health camps; • School/community programmes; • Stakeholder meetings; • Government coordination meetings; • Exposure visits; and • Other project-related events. Responsibilities will include: • Participant mobilization; • Venue coordination; • Participant registration; • Attendance management; • Distribution of training/IEC materials; • Coordination with trainers/resource persons; • Event photographs and documentation; • Collection of participant feedback; and • Submission of event reports.

FIELD MONITORING
The Field Officer will regularly monitor: • Progress of assigned project activities; • Beneficiary participation; • Quality of services delivered; • Utilization of project-supported assets/materials; • Training attendance and participation; • Community feedback; • Progress against field-level targets; • Challenges affecting project implementation; and • Follow-up requirements. The Field Officer shall cooperate fully with the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer and provide field records and supporting documentation required for independent verification.

FIELD DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING
The Field Officer will maintain systematic field documentation, including: • Daily Field Reports; • Weekly Activity Reports; • Monthly Progress Reports; • Beneficiary Registers; • Attendance Sheets; • Meeting Minutes; • Training Records; • Survey Forms; • Beneficiary Profiles; • Photographic Documentation; • Field Visit Records; • Distribution/Asset Records, wherever applicable; • Case Studies and Success Stories; and • Other Means of Verification (MoV). All reports and supporting documentation should be submitted within prescribed timelines. PHOTOGRAPHIC & GEO-TAGGED DOCUMENTATION Where required, the Field Officer will: • Capture clear photographs of project activities. • Maintain before, during and after intervention photographs. • Capture geo-tagged photographs where required. • Ensure photographs appropriately represent actual project activities. • Record activity date, location and beneficiary details as required. • Obtain appropriate consent for photographs and testimonials wherever applicable. • Maintain project-wise photographic folders and records. Fabricated, manipulated or unrelated field evidence will not be acceptable under any circumstances.

GOVERNMENT & COMMUNITY CONVERGENCE
The Field Officer will support convergence with government schemes and programmes wherever relevant. This may include coordination with departments responsible for: • Rural Development; • Agriculture and Horticulture; • Health; • Women & Child Development; • Education; • Skill Development; • Social Welfare; • Panchayati Raj; • Livelihood Missions; and • Other relevant sectors. The Officer will support beneficiaries in understanding and accessing eligible government schemes wherever this forms part of the approved project intervention.

GRIEVANCE & COMMUNITY FEEDBACK
The Field Officer will: • Listen to beneficiary and community concerns professionally. • Maintain records of significant complaints and feedback. • Resolve routine field-level issues within delegated authority. • Escalate serious grievances to the appropriate reporting officer. • Ensure beneficiaries are treated with dignity and respect. • Avoid discrimination, favoritism or inappropriate influence during beneficiary selection and service delivery. • Support MAT's beneficiary feedback and grievance-redressal mechanisms.

FREQUENT FIELD TRAVEL – MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
Extensive and frequent field travel is an essential requirement of this position. The Field Officer will be required to travel regularly to Meri Awaz Trust project locations, including villages, rural communities, blocks, districts and remote project areas. Travel may be required for: • Community mobilization; • Beneficiary identification; • Household surveys; • Project implementation; • Monitoring; • Training programmes; • Stakeholder meetings; • Government coordination; • Data collection; • Physical verification; • Documentation; and • Follow-up activities. The selected candidate should be willing to travel extensively and stay overnight at project locations whenever required for official assignments. Candidates seeking a primarily office-based position should not apply.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Essential/Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in any of the following: • Social Work (BSW/MSW); • Rural Development; • Sociology; • Development Studies; • Agriculture; • Public Health; • Education; • Community Development; • Management; or • Any other relevant discipline. Candidates with strong grassroots experience may be considered based on demonstrated field competencies.

EXPERIENCE
• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in NGO, CSR, community development, rural development, government projects or social-sector programmes. • Experience in community mobilization and beneficiary engagement will be preferred. • Previous experience of working in villages/rural areas is highly desirable. • Experience in surveys, field data collection, training coordination or community institutions will be an advantage.

The candidate should possess: • Strong community mobilization skills; • Ability to communicate effectively with rural communities; • Strong interpersonal skills; • Basic project implementation knowledge; • Ability to conduct surveys and collect accurate data; • Basic report-writing ability; • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel; • Ability to use smartphones and digital data-collection applications; • Good organizational and coordination skills; • Ability to work independently in field conditions; • Ability to meet project targets and deadlines; • Problem-solving ability; • Team-working skills; • Professional integrity and accountability; and • Strong willingness to travel. Knowledge of the local language of the assigned project area will be a strong advantage.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
Performance of the Field Officer may be assessed against: 1. Achievement of assigned field-level targets. 2. Timely completion of project activities. 3. Number and quality of field visits. 4. Beneficiary mobilization and participation. 5. Accuracy of beneficiary identification and documentation. 6. Quality and timeliness of field data. 7. Quality of daily/weekly/monthly reporting. 8. Completeness of photographic and other Means of Verification. 9. Effectiveness of community and stakeholder coordination. 10. Timely identification and escalation of field-level problems. 11. Compliance with project implementation guidelines. 12. Community feedback and beneficiary satisfaction. 13. Support provided to M&E verification. 14. Attendance, discipline and responsiveness during field assignments.

SALARY & OFFICIAL TRAVEL
Consolidated Salary: 25,000/- per month Approved travel, accommodation and other official expenses incurred during authorized field assignments may be reimbursed/covered as per the prevailing policies and procedures of Meri Awaz Trust. Any falsification of beneficiary information, field reports, attendance records, photographs, bills or project evidence may constitute serious misconduct and may lead to disciplinary action.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
The nature of this position requires flexibility in working hours and field schedules. The Field Officer may be required to work according to programme requirements, including early morning/evening community activities or official assignments, where necessary. The employee shall comply with the policies, procedures and administrative instructions of Meri Awaz Trust. MAT reserves the right to modify the responsibilities or assign additional projectrelated duties according to organizational and programme requirements.
