Digantar (full name: Digantar Shiksha Evam Khelkud Samiti) is a registered organization under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958, and has been working in the field of education since 1978. At the heart of its work is a commitment to making meaningful, quality elementary education accessible to all children. Digantar develops educational materials, conducts workshops and courses, and supports other organizations in strengthening their educational practices. It runs two schools, a primary and a secondary school, currently serving 207 children.

Digantar Vidyalaya requires Social Science Teacher with the following responsibilities:
1. Primary Responsibility is to teach Social Science to children. Complementary tasks and desired dispositions are:
a. Prepare teaching plans and teaching materials incorporating key curriculum principles.
b. Keep a record of children’s progress using planning and recording formats.
c. Regularly communicate with parents and guardians about the child's progress.
d. Take initiative and participate in school events to understand the school culture and build healthy relationships with students.
e. Willingly take on additional responsibilities as they come.

Essential Qualifications
1. Master’s degree in Economics or Political Science or History or Geography or Sociology or Education (with specialization in Social Science).
2. B.Ed. from a recognized university.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Social Science in classes 6th to 12th.
4. Proficiency in teaching in both English and Hindi languages is essential.
