Job Overview:
The Child Care Executive – Health and Nutrition will support the Operations team in monitoring and improving the health and nutritional status of children aged 2–6 across Diya Ghar's centres.

The ideal candidate has experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably with young children, and is comfortable with regular field visits to assess children's nutritional intake at the centre and community level. The role also involves coordinating with hospitals to organize medical camps and arrange hospital visits for children as needed.

Organization: Diya Ghar

Salary: Rs 30,000 – Rs 35,000 per month

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Nutrition
• Conduct regular field visits to assess the nutritional intake of children at the centres.
• Coordinate with teachers on BMI measurement and ensure accurate, consistent data tracking.
• Support the Operations team with community-based studies and pilot interventions.
• Support the Operations team with procurement of nutrition items for the centres.
• Coordinate with lunch vendors and conduct regular vendor visits to ensure adherence to quality standards.

2. Health Care
• Partner with hospitals to plan and organize quarterly medical camps across all Diya Ghar centres.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry of medical records from each camp.
• Plan and coordinate hospital visits for children who are unwell or referred for advanced care by the medical officer during quarterly camps.
• Plan and coordinate surgeries and follow-up care for children with special needs.
• Support the Operations team with planning and organizing community awareness sessions.

3. Documentation and Reporting
• Submit all bills and reimbursements in a timely manner.
• Document and submit work reports on time, following Diya Ghar's standard formats.

Candidate Profile
• Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in an administrative or coordination role within a hospital, NGO, or public health organization.
• Experience in child nutrition and healthcare is preferred.
• Qualification: MSW or equivalent degree.
• A genuine passion for the holistic development of children.
• Willingness to travel for field visits and to work closely with the communities Diya Ghar serves.
• Language Proficiency: Hindi, Kannada and English
