Job Description
Function: This position is for the Farmer Producer Company to facilitate overall market linkage, build productive relationships with stakeholders, capacity building of the team, mentoring FPC’s Board of Directors, fulfilling statutory obligations, and plan for making FPC sustainable.

Responsibilities:
1. Business Planning & Development
* Identify and develop business opportunities for the FPC in agriculture, livestock, or allied sectors.
* Prepare and execute annual business plans aligned with the FPC’s goals as per FPC Guideline
* Liaise with buyers, suppliers, processors, and market players to ensure profitable transactions.
* Explore and develop value addition, processing, and branding initiatives.
2. Operations Management
* Oversee procurement, aggregation, storage, and sale of produce/livestock.
* Maintain quality standards in procurement and sales.
* Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to customers and members.
3. Financial & Administrative Management
* Maintain accurate accounts, financial statements, and records.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, ROC filings, audits, etc.).
* Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain financial discipline.
4. Member Mobilization & Capacity Building
* Strengthen membership base and ensure active participation of farmers.
* Conduct training and awareness programs on production, quality, and business practices.
* Capacity Building of the shareholders and members of the FPC on various schemes offered by bank, NABARD, govt., and non-govt. agencies.
* Address member grievances and ensure transparent communication.
5. Coordination & Reporting
* Work closely with the Board of Directors for decision-making and policy implementation.
* Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly performance reports to stakeholders.
* Coordinate with Passing Gift Pvt. Ltd., government departments, NGOs, banks, and other agencies for resource mobilisation.
* Capacity Building of the shareholders and members of the FPC on various schemes offered by bank, NABARD, govt., and non-govt. agencies.
* Participation in different conferences/ seminars / workshops / training programs as per the need.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
* Increase in business turnover and profitability.
* Growth in active membership and share capital.
* Timely statutory compliance and reporting.
* Market linkages established and sustained.
* Member satisfaction and participation levels.
