Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Program Officer to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of organizational programmes across the assigned districts. The candidate should have strong communication, coordination, client management, and crowd management skills, along with the ability to effectively interact with school students.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and implement programme activities at the field level.
• Visit project locations regularly and monitor ongoing activities.
• Manage and maintain good relationships with clients, schools, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with school students, teachers, and school authorities.
• Ensure proper management and coordination of school students during programme activities.
• Handle and manage crowds effectively during events, awareness programmes, training sessions, and other activities.
• Coordinate with beneficiaries, field staff, community members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain programme-related records, reports, and MIS.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor programme targets, activities, and outcomes.
• Support awareness programmes, meetings, training, workshops, and community activities.
• Collect field-level data and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Resolve basic field-level issues through proper coordination and communication.
• Coordinate with the Head Office and provide regular programme updates.
• Ensure smooth execution of programmes and activities at assigned locations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Eligibility & Skills
• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Candidates with experience in NGO, social development, education, community development, or field-level programme implementation will be preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good client management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with school students.
• Strong organizational and crowd management skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and MIS.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned districts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Personal two-wheeler is mandatory.
• Valid driving licence is required for field travel.
Salary
Rs.10,000 – Rs.12,000 per month, based on qualification, experience, and suitability for the role.
Work Location
Gajapati, Rayagada, and Kandhamal, Odisha.
