Dhanbad District Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) is a community-based organization working to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS in Dhanbad district. The organization is committed to providing needful services and ensuring that PLHIV have access to appropriate care, support, treatment, and other essential services.
A major focus of the organization is the early linkage of PLHIV to care, support, and treatment services, enabling them to access healthcare and related assistance at the appropriate time. The organization also promotes treatment adherence through education, counselling, and community-based support, helping PLHIV understand the importance of continuing their treatment and managing their health effectively.
The organization further works toward strengthening community systems and reducing stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS. Through awareness, support, and community participation, it promotes dignity, inclusion, and equal access to services for PLHIV.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Care & Support Centre
2. Ensure treatment adherence, LFU tracking, and linkage of PLHIV to ART services
3. Conduct home visits, support group meetings, and community outreach
4. Maintain MIS, Mobile based SOCH Application /PALS data entry, and monthly/ weekly reporting to DAPCU/SACS
5. Liaise with ART Centre, District Hospital, NGOs, and PLHIV networks
6. Facilitate counseling, nutritional support, and social entitlement linkages
