ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND

MAMTA-Health Institute for Mother and Child, New Delhi, a Pan-India NGO, works on issues of health and development, with a focus on Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition, Adolescent/Young People’s Sexual Reproductive Health (YSRH), HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Non-Communicable Diseases since 1990. MAMTA works in a technical capacity and also as an implementing organization, which provides immense opportunities to engage with communities and stakeholders, learn, enhance skills, and deliver in a multi-disciplinary environment. MAMTA HIMC is implementing a project focusing on improved Mother and Child Health outcomes amongst the rural population in Uttarakhand. Currently, MAMTA-HIMC is looking for vendors or suppliers for medicine for the Mobile Health Van on a monthly basis or need basis for the above-mentioned location Pant Nagar in Uttarakhand. All the medicines will be required with established brands in the generic division.

VENDORS REQUIREMENTS

Quality Standards: Medicines must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or similar recognized quality standards.
Packaging and Labeling: Medicines must be properly packaged and labelled with name, dosage, batch number, expiry date, and manufacturer details.
Delivery: Vendors must ensure timely delivery on a monthly or need basis.
Eligibility Criteria: Vendors must have a valid drug license and experience in medicine supply.
Keeping in mind timely delivery and cost effectiveness, local vendor would be given preference.
In the medicine vendor selection process, 80% weightage will be given to quality standards and 20% to financial criteria.
