Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks:
Planning and Management
1. The ORW will be responsible for developing micro-plans for each hotspot, monitoring their implementation, and reviewing the plans.
2. Building the capacity of and providing support to Peer Educators to implement outreach activities in accordance with project guidelines.
3. Ensuring that micro-plans and line listings are updated quarterly (every three months) and shared with the project team for HRGs; additionally, ensuring that micro-plans and site assessments are completed quarterly for IDU/MSM interventions.
4. Preparing monthly action plans for each hotspot and ensuring an adequate supply of needles/syringes, condoms, lubricants, and BCC materials for each location.
5. Holding monthly discussions with the counselor to identify hotspots or sites with low service uptake or an increasing number of 'due' and 'overdue' services, in order to facilitate necessary follow-ups and micro-plan updates.
6. Consulting with community members and other stakeholders while preparing micro-plans to secure field-level support for smooth project implementation.
7. The ORW will identify potential volunteers and engage their services for the program. In the case of IDU/MSM interventions, assistance may be sought from various sources; eligible volunteers who meet the necessary criteria and adhere to relevant guidelines may be inducted as Peer Educators.
