We are looking for a committed and experienced professional to join our team and support the organization in managing its financial and accounting functions.

Position Finance & Accounts Officer
Location: Koderma, Jharkhand
Number of Positions: 01

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain books of accounts and ensure timely and accurate accounting entries.
• Handle day-to-day accounting, vouchers, ledgers, bank reconciliation, and financial records.
• Work on Tally and computerized accounting systems.
• Support preparation of financial statements, budgets, utilization statements, and project-wise financial reports.
• Assist in statutory compliances including TDS, GST, EPF, ESI, Income Tax, and FCRA-related financial documentation, as applicable.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and donor/organizational requirements.
• Support project teams in financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, project teams, and other stakeholders as required.
• Undertake official travel when required for project monitoring, audit, training, or other organizational assignments.

Qualification & Experience
• B.Com or equivalent degree in Commerce/Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
• Good working knowledge of Tally / computerized accounting.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Basic understanding of statutory and NGO financial compliance will be an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Willingness to travel as and when required.
• Candidates with experience in the NGO/development sector will be preferred.
Age
Preferably below 35 years.
Remuneration
Negotiable or depending on qualification, relevant experience, skills, and suitability for the position.
