Medical Officer – Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Qualification : MBBS with DGO / MD (OBGY) / DNB (OBGY)
Experience : Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for day-to-day hospital administration, coordination and clinical management.
• Conduct OPD consultations, patient assessment, admissions, inpatient rounds and follow-up care.
• Should be competent to perform/assist in MTP procedures, laparoscopic sterilizations, family-planning procedures and other minor OBGYN surgical procedures, as per qualification, competency and applicable regulations.
• Assist consultants in operative, obstetric, gynaecological and emergency cases as required.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care and ensure appropriate clinical documentation.
• Provide patient counselling regarding treatment, procedures, family planning, reproductive health and follow-up.
• Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, paramedical staff, OT, laboratory, pharmacy and other hospital departments for smooth patient care.
• Participate in training and skill development of nursing and paramedical staff.
• Participate in hospital training programs, health-awareness activities, CMEs, conferences and seminars.
• Maintain appropriate medical records, documentation, protocols and quality standards.
• Support hospital administration in maintaining patient safety, infection-control practices and quality of clinical services.
• Should be willing to handle emergencies and hospital duties as per the duty roster.
Preferred Candidate :
We are looking for a responsible, clinically competent and motivated Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with good communication, counselling and team-coordination skills and an interest in developing experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Endoscopy and Infertility/IVF services.
Salary : Commensurate with qualification, experience and clinical skills.
