RECRUITMENT NOTICE

SHARE INDIA is a not-for-profit society registered under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration Act in 1986. The organization invites applications from motivated professionals for the following organization-wide positions. The selected candidates will support the respective finance, accounts, human resources and administration functions of SHARE INDIA.
ACCOUNTS MANAGER
About the position
The Accounts Manager will oversee the organization’s day-to-day financial operations, supervise the accounting team, and ensure the integrity of financial data, statutory compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management and internal controls. The position will report to the Head of Finance & Accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger, and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Manage statutory and tax compliance, including GST, TDS, corporate income tax and advance tax computations and filings.
- Oversee banking, cash flow, bank reconciliations, working capital and organizational financial controls.
- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax and other organizational audits and ensure audit readiness.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, cost-center variance analysis and management reporting.
- Oversee FCRA and grant-related accounting requirements, including segregated accounting, foreign fund tracking, regulatory reporting and compliance.
- Lead, mentor and review the work of finance and accounts team members.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- CA Inter/Final, MBA in Finance, M.Com in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of core accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, statutory compliance and FCRA/grant accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime/other ERP or accounting systems and MS Excel.
ACCOUNTANT
About the position
The Accountant will maintain accurate organizational financial records and support day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, payroll, statutory compliance, financial reporting, audits and grant-related accounting. The position will report to the Head of Finance & Accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions, invoices, receipts and payments.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank, cash and other account reconciliations and support payroll and expense processing.
- Prepare GST and TDS computations and support timely statutory payments and filings.
- Assist with monthly financial statements, cash-flow forecasts and management reports.
- Prepare schedules, documentation and books of accounts for internal and external audits.
- Support grant and restricted-fund accounting, Utilisation Certificates, budget-vs-actual analysis, fund tracking and donor reporting requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Accounting/Finance or a related field; Inter-CA/Inter-CMA is desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of core accounting experience.
- Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting standards and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime/other accounting software and strong MS Excel skills.
- Experience in not-for-profit, FCRA and/or grant accounting will be an advantage.
HR & ADMIN OFFICER
About the position
The HR & Admin Officer will support the organization’s human resources and administrative functions across the employee life cycle. The position will be responsible for recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee documentation, compensation discussions, background verification, HR records, employee support and separation processes, and will report to the Head of Operations & HR.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, reference checks and offer documentation.
- Support compensation discussions and negotiations, preparation of offers/appointment documentation, and joining formalities.
- Manage employee onboarding, induction, personnel files, HR documentation and maintenance of accurate employee records.
- Coordinate background verification and ensure completion and documentation of pre-employment checks.
- Support day-to-day HR operations, employee queries, leave/attendance coordination and implementation of organizational HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information and support compliance with organizational HR policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Support employee engagement, training coordination, grievance handling and other employee-relations activities.
- Coordinate the performance appraisal process, including appraisal schedules, documentation, follow-up, employee confirmations, transfers and other employment-related processes as required.
- Manage resignation, handover, clearance, exit documentation and other separation formalities in accordance with organizational policies.
- Provide administrative coordination and support for smooth functioning of the organization and undertake other HR & Admin responsibilities assigned by the Head of Operations & HR.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- MBA in Human Resources / HR Management from a recognized university or institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in recruitment and general HR operations.
- Hands-on experience in onboarding, offer and compensation negotiations, background verification, employee documentation and exit/separation processes.
- Good understanding of HR policies, employee life-cycle processes and administrative procedures. Knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory HR requirements is essential; knowledge of gratuity provisions will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal and documentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
General: The positions are open to self-motivated professionals with strong communication, coordination, analytical and teamwork skills. All positions require good spoken communication skills in English and Hindi. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
