1. Job Purpose
The Community Mobilizer will work closely with migrant families, children, schools, community leaders, and government departments to promote children’s education, protection, and overall well-being. The role involves identifying vulnerable children, mobilizing communities, facilitating access to education and government schemes, and supporting the implementation of project activities in source and destination communities.

2. Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct household surveys and register migrant families, children aged 6–16 years, and youth aged 16–25 years.
• Identify out-of-school children and support their school enrolment and re-enrolment.
• Conduct home visits and follow up on children’s education and well-being.
• Coordinate with parents, schools, community leaders, government departments, Anganwadi Centres, and health facilities.
• Create awareness about child rights, education, gender equality, nutrition, child labour, and early marriage.
• Support Community Learning Centres, youth groups, and educational activities.
• Facilitate access to vocational training, higher education, government schemes, and social security benefits.
• Organise community meetings, awareness programmes, enrolment drives, service-linkage camps, and field trips.
• Maintain records, document activities, and submit regular reports to the Project Coordinator.
• Follow SATHI’s child safeguarding policies and maintain confidentiality.

3. Qualifications and Skills
• Any Graduate degree required
• Experience in community mobilization, education, or child protection is desirable.
• Good communication skills and knowledge of local languages.
• Basic skills in data collection, documentation, report writing, and computer-based data entry.
• Willingness to travel within assigned communities and work flexible hours when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
