Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Provision of Nutrition kits to people with TB in Chembur and Sion areas of Mumbai
About REACH
Resource Group for Education and Advocacy for Community Health (REACH), established in 1999, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against TB in India. REACH’s mandate includes providing high-quality treatment, care, and support for those affected by TB as well as research and education to improve public understanding of TB. REACH has established strategic partnerships with the National TB Elimination Program, TB-affected communities, private providers and other civil society groups and acts as an interface between the public and private healthcare systems. Purpose of the RFP:
REACH invites quotations from local vendors in Mumbai to provide nutrition kits for people with TB on a monthly basis from November 2026 to March 2027.
Please note the following:
- Vendors must be locally based, in/near the Chembur and Sion areas and must be willing to provide nutrition kits on a monthly basis.
- Each kit will contain the following:
- Wheat Flour / Atta (5 Kg)
- Pearl Millet Flour/ Bajra Atta (1 Kg)
- Moong Daal (1 Kg)
- Gram Flour / Besan (500 grams)
- Matki / (Moth Bean) (500 grams)
- Groundnut / Boriya Singdana (500 grams)
- Cooking Oil / Sunflower Oil (1 Lt)
- All items must be of good quality, contamination-free and preferably pre-packaged.
- We anticipate requiring between 4000-5000 such kits over the project period.
- A rate contract will be signed with the selected vendor (s) for the period up to March 2027.
- In an exceptional scenario, if there are any market increases in prices, fluctuations upto a maximum of 10% will be permitted.
- Orders will be placed on a monthly basis.
- All kits must be delivered on a monthly basis to around 10-15 selected health facilities within Sion and Chembur within three days of issuing the monthly purchase order.
