Subject : RFQ For the Supply of Mixed Fruit Plants (Apple & Walnut)
Invitation for Quotation
SUVIDHA invites quotations from eligible and experienced nurseries, suppliers, and authorized vendors for the supply and delivery of mixed fruit plants, comprising apple and walnut varieties, for project locations in Gairsain and Bageshwar, Uttarakhand.
Interested vendors are requested to submit their quotations in accordance with the specifications, quantities, and terms and conditions mentioned in this RFQ and the attached Annexure – Price Bid Format.
Scope of Supply
The selected vendor shall be responsible for:
- Supplying the specified varieties of apple and walnut plants as per the requirements of SUVIDHA.
- Ensuring that all plants are healthy, disease-free, properly developed, and suitable for plantation in the designated project locations.
- Ensuring that the plants are true to the specified variety and rootstock, wherever applicable.
- Packing, loading, transportation, and safe delivery of the plants to the designated locations in Gairsain and Bageshwar, Uttarakhand.
- Providing the necessary invoice, plant variety details, and relevant nursery or plant certification documents, wherever applicable.
Delivery Terms
Delivery Basis: F.O.R. Gairsain and Bageshwar, Uttarakhand.
- The quoted rates must include all applicable costs, including packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and other incidental expenses required for delivery at the designated locations.
- Any applicable GST or other statutory charges must be clearly indicated separately in the quotation.
- The vendor shall coordinate with SUVIDHA regarding the delivery schedule and exact delivery points.
- Plants must be delivered in good condition, with appropriate care taken to protect roots, grafts, and foliage during transportation.
Plant Mortality and Gap-Filling Clause
- The supplier shall be responsible for addressing plant mortality during the first year following delivery and plantation.
- If any supplied plant dies during the first year, the supplier shall provide replacement plants for gap filling in the following year, at no additional cost to SUVIDHA, subject to verification of mortality and mutually agreed plantation and maintenance conditions.
- The supplier shall ensure that the replacement plants are of the same specified variety and comparable quality as the original plants. The replacement arrangement and delivery schedule shall be coordinated with SUVIDHA.
Quality Requirements
- Plants must be healthy, vigorous, and free from visible pests and diseases.
- Apple plants must conform to the specified variety and rootstock.
- Walnut plants must conform to the specified variety.
- The supplier shall provide details of plant age, height, rootstock, grafting status, and source nursery wherever applicable.
- SUVIDHA reserves the right to inspect the plants at the time of delivery and reject plants that do not meet the specified requirements.
Quotation Submission Requirements
Interested vendors shall submit the following:
- Completed and signed Annexure – Price Bid Format.
- Vendor or nursery profile and contact details.
- GST registration details, if applicable.
- PAN details.
- Nursery registration/certification, or relevant authorization, wherever applicable.
- Confirmation of delivery capability for Gairsain and Bageshwar.
- Written acceptance of the terms and conditions, including the mortality and gap-filling clause.
The quotation must be signed and stamped by the authorized representative of the vendor.
