About the Position

Sarvo Prayas Sansthan, Madhubani invites applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the position of FPO Accountant to manage the accounting, financial records, and reporting of a Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) operating in Charout, Sitamarhi district, Bihar.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounting records, cash book, ledger, vouchers, and financial documents.

Record and monitor the FPO's purchase, sales, expenses, and business transactions.

Maintain bank records and perform bank reconciliation.

Prepare monthly financial statements and periodic financial reports.

Operate Tally and MS Excel for accounting and reporting purposes.

Assist in GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.

Support internal and external audits and the preparation of annual accounts.

Maintain proper documentation of financial and business transactions.

Coordinate with the FPO management and other relevant stakeholders on accounting matters.

Educational Qualification and Experience

B.Com / M.Com or an equivalent relevant qualification.

1–2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.

Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and computerized accounting systems.

Basic understanding of GST, TDS, banking, and statutory compliance.

Candidates with experience in FPOs, Farmer Producer Companies, cooperatives, or development organizations will be given preference.

Note:- should have two wheeler with valid license. The preference will be given to candidates from Sitamadhi and nearby area.

Salary

Take home- Rs. 20,000/- plus Rs.1500/- conveyance.
