About the Position
CARD invites applications from qualified and motivated professionals for the position of MIS Coordinator under its ABF-supported livelihood promotion project. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing project data, maintaining an effective Management Information System (MIS), preparing analytical reports and supporting project monitoring and decision-making.
Educational Qualification
Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or M.Sc. Computer Science from a recognized university/institution.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain and regularly update project MIS databases and reporting systems.
• Collect, compile, validate and analyse field-level data relating to project activities, beneficiaries, outputs and outcomes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports, dashboards and analytical summaries.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based monitoring formats, data trackers and reporting tools.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely submission of project information.
• Coordinate with field teams for data collection, verification and reporting.
• Support project management in monitoring targets, achievements and performance indicators.
• Assist in preparing donor reports, presentations and review meeting documents.
• Maintain systematic digital records and ensure data confidentiality.
Required Skills and Competencies
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, charts and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of MIS reporting, database management and data validation.
• Ability to prepare dashboards, analytical reports and management presentations.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
Preferred Profile
Candidates with previous experience in MIS management, development projects, livelihood promotion programmes or NGO/CSR-funded projects will be preferred.
