Role Overview

PFA UKD is looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Manager who can help amplify the organization’s mission through engaging digital storytelling. The role involves managing social media platforms, creating compelling content, and building an online community that supports animal welfare initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow PFA UKD’s social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter/X.

Create and schedule engaging content such as posts, reels, stories, and campaigns related to animal welfare, rescue stories, and advocacy initiatives.

Write compelling captions and narratives that communicate the organization’s mission and impact.

Collaborate with internal teams to highlight field work, sanctuary updates, and ongoing projects.

Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for engagement and awareness campaigns.

Track social media analytics and prepare periodic performance reports.

Respond to messages, comments, and community engagement in a timely and professional manner.

Skills and Qualifications

1–3 years of experience managing social media accounts (NGO or cause-based experience preferred).

Strong writing and storytelling skills.

Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools).

Understanding of social media analytics and digital trends.

A genuine passion for animal welfare and advocacy.
