The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, maintaining accurate accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. The role includes handling day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, and supporting audits.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day accounting operations.

Prepare and maintain cash book, ledger, vouchers, and bank reconciliation statements.

Process payments, invoices, and expense claims in accordance with organizational policies.

Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all financial transactions.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audits.

Monitor project budgets and ensure expenses are within approved limits.

Ensure compliance with applicable financial rules, tax regulations, and organizational policies.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Accounting / Finance

M.Com / CA Inter preferred

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting or financial management (NGO or project experience preferred).

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting principles

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial compliance

Good analytical and reporting skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records
