About you
You will have a minimum of graduation degree along with 4 years of professional experience in or related to public health or public health nutrition;
You should be familiar with Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint; have superior interpersonal and people management skills and attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
Prior experience working with development sector organizations would be an advantage
Fluency in Hindi and English (Reading, Writing & Oratory Skills) is a prerequisite.
About the role
This position provides communications and administrative coordination support primarily to the Senior Global Manager, Regional Senior Program Officer, and Regional Senior Technical Officer, all based in India, on Asia-based LSFF projects, but also to the broader global LSFF team as required. To support the coordination, management, and operational functionality of projects in Asia, given the number and size of external grants which NI has in the region. In this role you will be responsible to :
- Provide support around tracking, reporting, and management of the LSFF portfolio grants to ensure the submission of timely and accurate deliverables.
- Maintain contract tracking systems, drafting contracts and payment requests; ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of donor reports.
- Prepare and / or review of program documents, presentations, and communications to ensure quality and alignment; support around data collection and / or synthesis to further guide programming;
- Organization of regional events/ meetings; and facilitating coordination with NI’s regional communications and HR unit as needed.
- Assist the LSFF team in working with country office colleagues in preparation of strategy documents, concept notes, logic models, budget documents etc.; Support Asia LSFF team in ensuring timely contract deliverables and appropriate quality checks of country level LSFF projects;
- Assist in preparation of Project Summaries (budget, budget notes, schedule of payments, and data sheets), on a monthly basis, by grant, by country;
- Assist the regional LSFF team in compiling and tracking project-related donor reporting (both technical and financial), tracking project implementation plans (PIP), and updating the integrated project online monthly tracker;
- Support to set up regular coordination and program update calls for the Asia LSFF team with country offices and other global LSFF teams periodically, prepare meeting notes, and support necessary follow-up with the regional LSFF team.
- Update LSFF files, important correspondence, and meeting notes on the LSFF SharePoint page and country-specific LSFF folders for relevant documentation and reference and support necessary follow-up with country LSFF colleagues
