About the Role:
The Associate Program Coordinator will play a key role in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Springshed Management initiative in Tripura. The position requires strong program management skills, stakeholder coordination, and regular field engagement to ensure effective execution and sustainability of interventions.

Salary Range: Rs 50,000 – Rs 60,000 per month including PF, Gratuity and Medical Insurance
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Implementation & Management
• Lead and oversee the implementation of springshed management activities across project locations.
• Ensure timely execution of planned interventions in alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Monitor field-level progress and provide technical and operational guidance to the team.
2. Financial Management
• Track and ensure efficient utilization of program funds.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and reporting in coordination with the finance team.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and donor financial guidelines.
3. Capacity Building & Team Support
• Strengthen the capacity of field teams through training, mentoring, and regular feedback.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and promote best practices in springshed management.
4. Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare and consolidate monthly and quarterly progress reports.
• Maintain proper documentation of activities, outcomes, and learnings.
• Support development of case studies, success stories, and technical reports.
5. Stakeholder Coordination & Liaison
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key government departments including:
• Water Resources Department
• Forest Department
• District Administration
• Gram Panchayats (GP) / Village Councils (VC)
• Represent the organization in meetings, reviews, and coordination forums at state and district levels.
6. Field Engagement
• Undertake regular field visits to monitor implementation, provide support, and ensure quality outcomes.
• Engage closely with communities and local institutions to strengthen program ownership.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in the development sector, preferably in WaSH or natural resource management.
• Experience in program coordination and multi-stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of community-based approaches and government systems.
Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak and write Bengali (mandatory) .
• Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively to field locations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and report writing.
Other Requirements:
• The role requires significant time in the field and close engagement with implementation teams.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in rural and remote areas of Tripura.
