Qualification: Graduate in Social Work /Sociology/Psychology/ Public Health/ Counselling from a recognized university. OR PG Diploma in Counselling and Communication.
Experience: At least 1 year of working experience with the Govt/NGO preferably in the field of Women &Child Development. Proficiency in Computers.
Skills : Empathy to connect with children who have experienced trauma, neglect, or abuse. Building trust and offering consistent support to children. Active listening to children and stakeholders. Creating a safe environment for children to express themselves. Clear and sensitive communication, both verbal and non-verbal. Simplifying concepts for children and offering gentle guidance. Knowledge of child development, behavior, and mental health. Recognizing signs of trauma, abuse, or distress in children. Guiding children to identify challenges and develop solutions. Making child-focused, ethical decisions. Resolving disputes among children and fostering mutual respect. Managing emergencies calmly and ensuring child safety. Upholding ethical standards and safeguarding children’s rights. Protecting confidentiality of sensitive child-related information.
