Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support effective financial management of our programs and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts, vouchers, and financial records
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage budgeting, fund utilization, and financial reporting for various projects
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Income Tax, TDS, GST, etc.)
Handle bank reconciliations and cash management
Support internal and external audits
Maintain donor-wise financial reporting as per guidelines
Ensure compliance with FCRA and other applicable regulations (if applicable)
Coordinate with program teams for financial planning and monitoring
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; M.Com/CA (Inter)/MBA (Finance) preferred
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the NGO/development sector
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software
Experience in donor-funded project accounting is desirable
Good analytical and communication skills
Salary-25000 per month
