Position:	Laboratory Technician

Type of Job:	Contractual (Fixed term on consultancy)
Tenure:	The project grant is for 3-year period from 2024-27. The appointment will be on contract basis till 31 March 2027 subject to continuation of grant from the Global Fund.
Place of Posting:	Imphal,Manipur
Essential Qualification & Experience:	B. Sc (MLT) OR 12^th pass in science subjects with 2 years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician OR 12^th pass in science subjects with 1 year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician along with one year laboratory technician experience.
Desirable:	B.Sc / M.Sc Microbiology/Biotechnology Experience in Research Laboratory and handling blood/tissue samples, performing extraction of DNA and toxic elements from the tissues/blood. Knowledge of computer applications including Excel
Age Limit:	Maximum 55 years age
Remuneration/Consultancy Fee Band:	The remuneration will be commensurate with the qualification and relevant experience

Position Roles & Responsibilities

Rapid and analytical testing of human body sample (s) especially for malaria investigation and diagnosis at Regional Office of Health & Family Welfare, Imphal under the control of health department.

Interview Criteria

Initially shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in virtual mode.
Shortlisted candidates from virtual mode interview will be invited for in-person interview at RoHFW, Imphal.
The candidates invited for in-person interview may be subject to written test or demonstration.
Final selection will be made from the candidates invited for in-person interview.
