Role Overview
The Data Management Officer (DMO) will be responsible for managing and analyzing data for carbon projects covering approximately 30,000 hectares. The role involves coordination with field teams, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end data workflows: collection, validation, cleaning, and storage of datasets
- Build and maintain databases, trackers, and dashboards
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Coordinate with field teams and provide training on digital tools
- Identify and resolve data quality issues
- Develop and document SOPs
- Strengthen MIS systems and data governance
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s in data science, Statistics, IT or related field.
- 2+ years of data management experience.
- Advanced MS Excel and MS Office proficiency
- Knowledge of Power BI (preferred)
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to relocate to Kawardha
- Ability to collaborate with field teams and travel when required
