About Organization: Femfuture Collective aims to address the lack of body autonomy among girls, women, and gender diverse people by integrating local expertise and global knowledge with digital resources and human experiences. We want to build intelligence on sexual and reproductive health rights, enabling menstruators to make informed decisions about their bodies.

About Project Sambhav: The project aims to promote holistic development for adolescent girls and boys, primarily from tribal communities across panchayats by integrating education, health, and livelihoods so that they can make informed choices about their life and career and transition into adulthood with confidence and community support.

Summary of Role
The Program Associate will work closely with the Founder to support and drive key organizational activities, including operations, administration, logistics, and coordination with program participants. This role offers hands-on exposure to strategy, project management, and implementation, while contributing meaningfully to Femfuture Collective’s mission.

Essential Functions
- To assist in the development and implementation of project strategies, and work plans including monitoring and evaluation plans.
- Collection, analysis, and presentation of information needed for project development and implementation.
- Assist in developing and implementing project communication strategies and management tools that can be adapted for other projects as needed, e.g., travel and budget tracking tools, partner communication, or consultant approval templates.
- Assist in the operational and financial management of projects and ensure that necessary project management and financial procedures are properly implemented.
- Carry out regular field visits in Jamshedpur and meetings across Jharkhand to ensure smooth implementation of and updates around program activities.
- Work closely with the finance team/leadership to develop, monitor, track and analyze annual, quarterly, and monthly expenditures compared to the project budget. Ensure that project budget projections are accurate and expenditures are properly tracked, including accruals.
- Presentation of information for audit and evaluation of the projects.
- Provide logistics support for events and project-related workshops.
- Participate in and contribute to training sessions for operations and project staff.
- Oversee all project-related travel processes and seek any necessary approvals for on ground activities.

Skills, Education, and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work or related field with a minimum of 3-4 years of program management experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in conducting training with young people and curriculum development on gender, health and life skills will be preferred.
- Comfortable working in teams as well as acting independently in the implementation of specific tasks, multitasking and prioritizing, working under uncertainty, and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work and communicate with a diverse group of people of different cultural backgrounds.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling web-based management systems.
- Should be willing to travel to the field, with advance planning and flexibility wherever possible. Preference will be given to people from Jamshedpur/Jharkhand.
