CHILDREN is a non-governmental organization registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act of 1961. Established in 2003 and operational since 2007, the organization has spent over 15 years working with more than 20,000 young individuals from underprivileged communities in Northwest Delhi. Our model is rooted in long-term engagement—supporting children and Youth from their early years through to productive adulthood.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Designation: MIS Executive
Location: Delhi
(CHILDREN Office, Shahbad Daulatpur (Near Rohini Sector-18).
Reports to: Program Lead
No. of Positions: 01
Contract type: Fixed term employment for one year
Key working relationships: Ensures smooth data flow, reporting, and coordination across all functions
Key Accountabilities:
The MIS Executive is responsible for managing data, generating reports, and supporting team in decision-making by maintaining accurate and timely information systems. The role involves working with databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to analyze programme performance.
• Develop tools for data collection.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to the ongoing programs.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual MIS reports.
• Maintain and update databases and records accurately.
• Generate dashboards and presentations for management.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
• Coordinate with programme team to gather required information.
• Analyse data and generate meaningful reports to support decisions.
• Work closely with the field teams on programme data.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and discrepancies.
Essential Agreement:
• Strictly observe confidentiality and strong ethics with respect to all beneficiaries, staff, volunteer information/data.
• Comply with and ensure adherence to the agency’s policies, safety and security protocols and child safeguarding norms and guidelines by self as well as all stakeholders both internal and external.
• Be non-discriminatory and respectful in relating with people, especially the sponsored children/youth and their families, volunteers, staff, and other stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/ Economics, data analytics or related field.
Experience:
• 3-4 years. Prior experience in data handling and reporting is an advantage.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros etc.), data validation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Familiarity with databases and reporting tools.
• Good analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or data management tools (optional but preferred)
Salary: As per organizational norms and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
