Job Purpose:
The Project Facilitator will be responsible for implementing the SURAKSHA Project at the field level by conducting structured awareness and life-skills sessions with adolescent girls. The role focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and informative environment to educate students on sanitation, menstrual hygiene, personal safety, health, and rights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct interactive sessions with students on:
o Menstrual health and hygiene
o Sanitation and personal hygiene
o Personal safety, protection, and awareness
o Self-esteem, confidence building, and life skills
• Ensure sessions are age-appropriate, culturally sensitive, and engaging
• Build trust and rapport with students, encouraging open discussions
• Coordinate with school authorities, teachers, and the project team for smooth program delivery
• Maintain attendance records, session reports, and feedback forms
• Support awareness activities, workshops, and special events under the SURAKSHA program
• Identify student concerns and escalate sensitive issues to the Project Manager when required
• Assist in monitoring and evaluation of program outcomes
• Follow child protection and safeguarding policies strictly
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Graduate in Social Work, Education, Psychology, Public Health, or related field (preferred)
• Experience working with adolescent girls/school programs/community projects
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Comfortable discussing health, hygiene, and safety-related topics
• Empathetic, patient, and approachable personality
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Basic documentation and reporting skills (MS Word/Excel preferred)
Experience:
• 1–3 years of relevant field or facilitation experience preferred
• Freshers with strong communication skills and motivation may also apply
Other Requirements:
• Female candidate only (essential for program delivery)
• Willingness to travel locally to schools/centres
• Commitment to child safety and ethical practices
• Palwal district areas (Kushak and Solda)
• 2-wheeler required.
