Reporting, Analytics & Business Modelling: Face-to-Face Fundraising Program
1. Background
ChildFund India operates an active Face-to-Face (F2F) fundraising program aimed at engaging supporters and securing sustained funding for its child-focused development initiatives.
To strengthen decision-making, program performance visibility, and strategic growth, ChildFund India seeks to engage a specialist consultant to enhance its reporting systems, data analytics, and business modelling capabilities supporting the fundraising team.
2. Objective of the Assignment
The objective of this RFP is to on board a vendor who will:
- Strengthen and optimize reporting frameworks to enhance fundraising performance visibility and decision-making
- Design and implement advanced analytics dashboards to track key performance indicators, donor acquisition, retention, and revenue trends
- Develop robust business models and scenario analyses to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Establish effective tools and systems for data-driven monitoring and performance management
- Build internal team capacity through structured training, documentation, and knowledge transfer on reporting and modelling best practices
3. Scope of Work
The selected vendor will undertake the following:
- Conduct a needs assessment and data audit of current reporting systems, data sources, and tools.
- Design and standardize monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports that are transparent, actionable, and tailored to key stakeholders (fundraising team, leadership, board).
- Create data dashboards (e.g., in Excel, Power BI, or equivalent) for real-time tracking of performance metrics.
- Develop financial and operational models (projections, sensitivity analysis, cost-benefit scenarios) to support planning.
- Propose metrics/KPIs for monitoring donor journey, acquisition cost, ROI, retention, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide hands-on training / documentation for staff on how to maintain and update reporting tools and models.

- Assessment Report with gap analysis & recommendations
- Standardized Reporting Templates
- Interactive Dashboards
- Business Modelling Tools with assumptions

6. Eligibility Criteria / Key Qualifications
- Advanced skills in data analytics, business modelling, and reporting.
- Experience with fundraising performance data (face-to-face or donor acquisition channels preferred).
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as Excel (advanced), Power BI/Tableau, SQL/data integration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear insights and decision models.
- Excellent communication and training skills.

8. Reporting and Supervision
The consultant will report to the Director – Business Development and work closely with the face-to-face fundraising team, MIS/IT units, and Finance.
9. Safeguarding & Compliance
ChildFund maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards:

- Any form of harm to children
- All consultants must comply with safeguarding policies and may be subject to background verification.
