With a strong focus on improving the quality of life in underserved communities, TIDE operates across multiple thematic areas including Sustainable Energy, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Climate Education, and Skilling & Livelihoods.
TIDE designs and implements scalable, impact-driven programs in collaboration with government institutions, corporate partners, and local communities. The organisation emphasizes long-term sustainability by integrating technology, behaviour change, and capacity building into its interventions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Design
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
• Develop technical designs for WASH infrastructure
• Prepare layouts, drawings and basic cost estimates
• Ensure designs are cost-effective, scalable and sustainable
2. Implementation & Execution
• Oversee on-ground execution of WASH projects
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and field teams
• Ensure quality control and adherence to timelines
• Conduct regular site visits and provide technical guidance
3. Government & Stakeholder Coordination
• Liaise with school authorities, Panchayats and local government officials
• Facilitate approvals and align with government norms and standards
• Support community engagement for better adoption and usage
4. Monitoring & Quality Assurance
• Track project progress and resolve technical challenges
• Ensure infrastructure meets usability and safety standards
• Conduct post-installation checks and performance reviews
5. Sustainability & O&M Planning
• Develop operation and maintenance (O&M) plans
• Promote water-efficient and climate-resilient solutions
• Integrate behaviour change elements with infrastructure
Skills and Competencies
• The role requires strong technical and problem-solving abilities, along with a practical understanding of low-cost and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
• The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work effectively in field conditions, manage multiple stakeholders, and coordinate across teams.
• Basic knowledge of project costing and estimation, along with good communication and documentation skills, is essential.
Compensation
