ABOUT AFFORDABLE QUALITY HEALTH:
Affordable Quality Health (AQH) is a not-for-profit entity (a section 8 Company), established in India with the primary aim of providing educational services, developing research skills and transferring knowledge in the discipline of health and allied sciences. Consequently, InOrder, The Health Systems Institute was established to work towards improving health system performances and health outcomes through innovative academic programs, capacity building initiatives and translational research endeavours. It is a DSIR-recognized SIRO for evidence generation and evidence synthesis in domains of public health and related domains. InOrder is committed to expand it’s academic, research and capacity building activities in disciplines of medicine, public health, nursing, management and social sciences. It has strategic association with global think tanks, such as, ACCESS Health International and collaborations with UN agencies, international organizations, national donors, various state governments and the government of India.
Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for the position of Project Technical Support – lll under commissioned Implementation Research Project titled “Mapping Vulnerability and Estimating Thresholds of Heat-Related Health Risks in Five Towns of Odisha – A Mixed Methods Study” under the guidance of Prof. Bhuputra Panda as the Principal Investigator. This is a three-year project, being implemented in collaboration with KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar; and is being funded by ICMR, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in close coordination with the Project Research Scientist and other team members.
- Undertake data collection related to heat stress vulnerability and thresholds
- Provide handholding and technical support to district and block health officials.
- Conduct in-depth interviews (IDIs), focus group discussions (FGDs) and field observations.
- Provide support for conducting household surveys and other data collection activities using standardized study tools.
- Identify implementation barriers and facilitators and assist in conducting root cause analysis.
- Collect, document, and compile process indicators and routine (secondary) data.
- Maintain coordination with district/block administration and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in data compilation and preliminary analysis as per the need.
- Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the PI from time to time.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
Post Graduate in Public Health or allied disciplines with minimum 55% marks (OR) Bachelors’ degree in Nursing/Social Sciences/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/Allied Health Sciences with one to two years of relevant work experience.
Experience:
Candidates with two years of relevant past experience will be considered.
Skills and Competencies:
- Coordination, analytical, communication and monitoring skills are required.
- Fluency in Odia speaking is preferred.
AGE LIMIT: Not exceeding 35 years as on 1st April, 2026. Age may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The selected candidate shall initially work for one year, may be extended / renewed depending upon the performance of the candidate and need of the project.

COMPENSATION: Consolidated 33,600/- per month. Additional perks/benefits will be given as per the approved budget of the project.
