Position Role
|
|
Field Coordinator, Programs will be responsible for coordinating all relevant activities relating to children at the assigned location/s. This includes maintenance of database of all enrolled children including updating program participation, managing communications with sponsors, and ensuring improvement in writing & communication skills of children. The position is responsible overall for the well-being of enrolled children ensuring presence, program participation, and health & education status of all enrolled children.
Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the safeguarding policy and procedures and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with ChildFund’s Safeguarding Policy.

Primary Responsibilities
|
- Work with Senior Field Officer and child development field officers to ensure the full range of benefits such as relevant health, education, and livelihood support, are provided to the children.
- Ensure all children are getting benefits through our programs and share the critical findings with the program specialists.
- Coordinate with program team to ensure that children’s program participation updates are shared with the sponsors.
- Ensure that children’s health status issues are shared with the program specialists for their immediate action.
- Ensure that emergency health or emergency support budgets are utilized appropriately in the communities.
- Submit accurate required details to process the DFC disbursement and ensure proper utilization of amounts by the recipients.
- Check all communications and program benefits information for accuracy and effective translation before dispatching to the Country Office
- Ensure regular house visits to familiarize with the children, families, and communities.
- Conduct field visits to provide support, guidance, training, and monitoring of child development activities
- Ensure timely dispatch of all communications to the sponsors by coordinating with field officers and following letter tracking system to avoid delinquency of communications
- Ensure that children write communications (at age-appropriate levels) and share any critical findings about children’s writing & communication skills to the education project team.
- Ensure quality communications through periodical checking of the communications and share feedback with field officers for improving quality of children’s writing skills & communications.
- Responsible for maintaining the database and providing required information to the program specialists, as required.
- Ensure SR software such as Salesforce and LTE are maintained and updated on a regular basis and reports are generated accurately.
- Contribute to organizational learning by identifying and supporting the documentation of key lessons learned in program and process quality improvement through research and reflection exercises, as required.
- Flexible to travel to remote villages and communities.
- Any other responsibility assigned by the Line Manager.

Required Experience and Education
|
- Education: Graduate degree in Social Work / Rural Development is preferred.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in NGO sector. Information and communication related to child development programs is an advantage.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in Rajasthani and Hindi. Strong computer skills, with familiarity in using Microsoft Office suite applications particularly command working in Excel.
