Job Summary
The District Coordinator will lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and documentation of district-level programmes focused on strengthening grassroots governance, women’s leadership, and community development outcomes. The role requires strong leadership, program management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities to ensure effective delivery and impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for district-level programme implementation
- Supervise and mentor Block Coordinators and Field Mobilizers to ensure high-quality delivery across blocks and gram panchayats
- Establish clear accountability systems and ensure team performance against deliverables
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, processes, and compliance requirements
2. Programme Management & Implementation
- Develop district programme plans aligned with state-level strategy and priorities
- Oversee timely and quality implementation of all programme activities
- Track progress against defined outputs and outcomes, ensuring achievement of targets
- Strengthen capacity-building initiatives, especially for women leaders and grassroots institutions
- Manage programme budgets and ensure efficient and timely utilization
3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
- Oversee robust data collection (primary and secondary) for key programme indicators
- Validate and ensure accuracy of monthly and quarterly data
- Ensure proper maintenance of M&E systems, tools, and documentation
- Generate insights from data to inform programme improvements and decision-making
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality monthly and quarterly reporting
- Review and standardize field reports, ensuring clarity, consistency, and outcome orientation
- Develop case studies, success stories, and documentation of programme learnings
- Prepare and present periodic review and planning reports for the State Office
5. Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and strengthen relationships with district administration, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and civil society organizations
- Represent the organization at district-level forums, meetings, and reviews
- Facilitate convergence and collaboration with relevant stakeholders to enhance programme impact
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Development Studies, or related field
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in programme implementation (governance, gender, or community development preferred)
- Experience working with Panchayati Raj Institutions and grassroots communities is highly desirable

Other Requirements
