Development Focus, is seeking a passionate and committed Project Coordinator to lead and manage development-focused initiatives that create meaningful impact in excluded communities. The twenty-year-old organisation, works for the upliftment of marginalised and excluded communities, especially the children, youth and women among them. Presently the projects are implemented among tribal communities in Jharkhand.

About the Role
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring community development projects. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and a deep commitment to social change. The employment will be at the Head Office in Bangalore, but travel to the field will be required two or three times in a year.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute development projects aligned with organizational goals
• Coordinate with field teams, stakeholders, and partner organizations
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of outcomes
• Prepare reports, documentation, and impact assessments
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently
• Facilitate community engagement and capacity-building activities

Qualifications & Experience
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in the development sector
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in diverse team environments
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools

• Sensitivity to social issues and community needs
• Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement
• Proficiency in English and working knowledge of Hindi
