About the Role
Srilan Trust invites applications for the post of Manager. The role involves identifying deserving students, assessing their needs, supporting fundraising, and coordinating with doctors and villagers for rural medical camps.
Key Job Description
•
Identify deserving students, especially girl children, from economically weaker families through field visits.
•
Prepare beneficiary profiles covering fees, books, uniforms, transport and related support needs.
•
Maintain records, documentation, follow-up notes and beneficiary updates in a systematic manner.
•
Assist in fundraising from individuals, local donors, philanthropists and institutions.
•
Coordinate with doctors, hospitals, village leaders, schools, anganwadi workers and panchayat representatives for medical camps.
•
Manage field logistics, registration, community mobilisation, communication and camp reporting.
•
Build trust with families, villagers, students, donors and community institutions.
•
Use computers for basic documentation, data entry, email communication, record maintenance and reporting. Eligibility and Skills: Education Graduate in any discipline. Experience in social work, NGO work, community outreach, rural development, education support or healthcare coordination is preferred. Must have a Working knowledge of computers. The candidate should be able to handle basic MS Word/typing, email communication, record-keeping, and simple reporting. Preferred Qualities: Good communication skills, field mobility, honesty, empathy, organisational ability and willingness to work in villages.
