Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer-cum-Accountant
Project: Targeted Intervention (TI) Programme – Truckers Typology
Location: Bokaro, Jharkhand
Supported by: Jharkhand State AIDS Control Society (JSACS)
Salary: ?16,000/- per month + ?600/- Travel Allowance (TA)
Job Purpose:
To ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and financial management of the Targeted Intervention project for Truckers, in line with JSACS guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Evaluation:
Maintain and update all project records, registers, and reporting formats as per TI guidelines.
Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to JSACS in a timely manner.
Track project indicators such as coverage, service delivery, and outreach performance.
Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency across all reports.
Support field staff (ORWs, PEs) in data collection and reporting processes.
Conduct regular field visits for monitoring project activities and verifying data.
Accounts & Financial Management:
Maintain proper books of accounts, vouchers, and financial records.
Prepare monthly expenditure statements and utilization certificates.
Ensure compliance with financial guidelines of JSACS.
Handle petty cash, bank transactions, and maintain cash book.
Assist in audit processes and ensure all financial documents are updated.
Coordination & Reporting:
Coordinate with Project Manager, ORWs, and other staff for smooth implementation.
Participate in review meetings and present progress reports.
Ensure timely submission of reports and financial statements to JSACS.
Eligibility Criteria:
Graduate in Commerce / Statistics / Social Sciences or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation and/or Accounts (preferably in TI projects).
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) is essential.
Familiarity with NGO/health project reporting systems will be preferred.
Skills Required:
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Basic accounting knowledge
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
