Role Overview
Lead women artisan livelihood programmes across Gujarat—strengthening
craft-based enterprises, improving market access, and building sustainable,
women-led businesses.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Management, Development
Studies, or related field
4–8 years’ experience in artisan livelihoods, cluster development, or
enterprise promotion
Experience in handicrafts, textiles, or home-based production systems
Prior NGO/development sector experience essential; Gujarat experience
preferred
Key Competencies
Strong understanding of artisan value chains & cluster development
Experience in market linkages, product development & enterprise
formalisation (GST, Udyam, FSSAI)
Expertise in M&E, donor reporting, and budget management
Leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
Key Responsibilities
Lead programme planning, implementation, and cluster strengthening
Develop market linkages, branding, and value chain partnerships
Oversee monitoring, reporting, and programme outcomes
Manage stakeholders, partnerships, budgets, and teams
Ensure quality standards and identify opportunities for scale
Remuneration
Up to ?6 LPA

About Saath
Saath is a non-profit working to empower marginalised communities through
education, healthcare, livelihoods, and women’s empowerment. In Gujarat,
Saath supports women artisans through enterprise development, traditional
crafts, and income enhancement.
Role Overview
Work closely with women artisans, SHGs, and clusters to strengthen livelihoods,
enable market access, and support programme implementation at the
grassroots level.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Management, Community
Development, or related field
2–4 years in community mobilisation, field coordination, or NGO
programmes
Experience with SHGs, artisan groups, or livelihoods preferred
Familiarity with handicrafts or home-based production is an advantage
Proficiency in Gujarati essential (Hindi & English preferred)
Key Competencies
Understanding of community mobilisation & cluster development
Knowledge of livelihood programmes, government schemes & financial
inclusion
Experience in facilitating trainings, meetings, and awareness sessions
Ability to manage field data, records & reporting tools
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and willingness to travel
Key Responsibilities
Mobilise and engage women artisans through regular field visits
Support SHG formation, meetings, and capacity building
Facilitate market linkages, product development & scheme access
Coordinate trainings, workshops, and programme activities
Maintain data, reports, and beneficiary records
Build local partnerships with NGOs, government, and community leaders
Remuneration
Up to ?3.5 LPA
