Job Title: Community Facilitator (Social Worker / Field Officer)

Role Purpose
The Community Facilitator will be responsible for implementing field-level program activities, ensuring effective community engagement, maintaining documentation and compliance, and supporting the overall delivery of project outcomes within the assigned area.
This role requires extensive fieldwork and regular travel across project locations within and outside Delhi.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Implementation:
• Conduct household-level assessments, surveys, and follow-ups
• Facilitate family-level planning and ensure implementation of identified priorities
• Execute monthly activity plans, including trainings, workshops, and community events
2. Community Engagement:
• Mobilize and work closely with mothers’ groups, children, and community stakeholders
• Conduct regular home visits and group meetings
• Support awareness generation on health, education, and social issues
3. Monitoring & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of children, families, and program activities
• Ensure timely data entry, reporting, and documentation compliance
• Prepare monthly reports, case studies, and progress updates
4. Financial & Administrative Support:
• Assist beneficiaries with banking processes and documentation
• Support fund utilization tracking and verification of records
• Coordinate with internal teams on budgeting and activity planning
5. Capacity Building & Development:
• Facilitate formation and strengthening of community groups (e.g., SHGs)
• Organize skill development and capacity-building initiatives
• Promote participation in government schemes and entitlements
6. Coordination & Liaison:
• Liaise with local authorities and relevant stakeholders
• Support internal evaluations, audits, and program reviews
• Coordinate with supervisors and central teams for reporting and compliance
Eligibility Criteria:;
• MSW (Master of Social Work) with 1–3 years of relevant experience, OR
• BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) with 3–5 years of relevant experience, OR
• Graduate in a related discipline with equivalent experience in community development
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills
• Good written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage field operations and documentation simultaneously
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, data entry systems)
• Problem-solving ability and adaptability in field environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel to field locations when required
