Job Title: Program Manager
Project: Charaibeti –Program for Underprivileged Children with Disabilities
Location: Rajabazaar
Reporting To: Program consultant & Director

About the Project
Charaibeti is an initiative dedicated to supporting underprivileged children with disabilities through inclusive education, holistic development, and family engagement. The program focuses on building sustainable interventions that empower children and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Program Planning & Design
• Design, develop, and implement program strategies aligned with project goals
• Create structured intervention plans and inclusive learning frameworks
• Set measurable goals and outcomes for children and the program
2. Proposal Writing & Fund Management
• Develop high-quality project proposals for donors and funding agencies
• Prepare detailed budgets and ensure effective allocation of funds
• Monitor utilization of funds in alignment with approved budgets
3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
• Track Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) frameworks
• Track progress of children and overall project outcomes
• Prepare periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for stakeholders and donors
• Maintain accurate documentation of program data and impact
4. Child Development & Academic Oversight
• Monitor and track individual progress of children
• Review lesson plans and teaching methodologies
• Support goal setting, assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ensure implementation of effective and inclusive teaching strategies
5. Team Management & Capacity Building
• Train, mentor, and supervise teachers and program staff
• Build team capacity through regular workshops and feedback
• Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment
6. Parent & Community Engagement
• Conduct parent counselling and guidance sessions
• Build strong relationships with families and caregivers
• Develop community outreach and engagement strategies
7. Donor Engagement & Networking
• Maintain relationships with donors and partners
• Represent the organization in meetings, forums, and networking events
• Identify and build new partnerships and collaboration opportunities
8. Financial & Administrative Management
• Oversee accounts management related to the project
• Maintain records of bills, vouchers, and financial documentation
• Ensure compliance with organizational and donor requirements

Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong domain knowledge in disability, inclusive education, or child development
• Expertise in program design and project management
• Experience in data tracking, impact measurement, and reporting
• High level of empathy with a professional and ethical approach
• Leadership skills with experience in team management and capacity building
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in special education ( PWD) mandatory along with Social Work, Psychology, Education, Development Studies, or related field
• Prior experience working with children with disabilities or in the development sector
• Experience in donor-funded projects and NGO program management

Other Requirements
• Willingness to travel for field visits and community engagement
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Commitment to the mission and values of inclusive development
