Job Purpose
The Agriculture Expert will lead field-level implementation of climate-resilient agriculture and watershed-linked farming practices, focusing on improving productivity, soil health, and water-use efficiency in rainfed areas.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement climate-smart and sustainable agriculture practices in field areas
• Conduct farmer trainings, demonstrations, and exposure visits
• Promote soil health management, water conservation, and efficient irrigation practices
• Support crop planning and seasonal agricultural interventions (kharif & rabi)
• Work closely with farmers on rainfed agriculture and watershed-based farming systems
• Maintain field data, reports, and documentation
• Coordinate with farmer groups, FPOs, and village-level institutions
• Ensure integration of NRM interventions with agriculture practices

Required Qualifications & Experience
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Agriculture
• Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience in agriculture or rural development
• Strong understanding of rainfed agriculture and soil-water conservation practices
• Experience in farmer training and community mobilization
• Ability to work independently in rural field conditions
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting)

Compensation
• Rs 35,000 – Rs 40,000 per month
