Anahat For Change Foundation is a grassroots organisation working with vulnerable adolescents and women across underserved regions of India, particularly in areas affected by poverty, migration, and systemic exclusion. The organisation focuses on adolescent wellbeing, gender equity, menstrual health, leadership-building, and strengthening community systems through close collaboration with schools, frontline workers, SHGs, and local governance structures.

Anahat uses football as a tool for empowerment, protection, and inclusion among adolescents, especially girls from vulnerable communities. Through sports-based life skills programs, adolescents engage in regular football sessions integrated with discussions on gender, health, mental wellbeing, child marriage, education, violence prevention, and leadership. The program creates safe spaces for adolescents to build confidence, teamwork, resilience, and peer leadership while encouraging greater participation in community processes and decision-making.

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic female professional to join our football-based adolescent development program in Koderma, Jharkhand.

?? Role Overview:
The Sports cum Program Coordinator will lead and manage the overall implementation of the program while using football as a tool for empowerment, leadership, and life skills education for girls and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:
? Conduct regular football training sessions for girls
?? Integrate life skills, confidence building, teamwork, leadership, and gender awareness through sports
?? Coordinate with schools to support girls' transition into Classes 9 and 11
?? Engage with local stakeholders including Panchayats, School Management Committees, teachers, and community leaders
?? Oversee day-to-day program implementation, reporting, and coordination
?? Support safe participation and regular follow-up with adolescent girls and families

Eligibility Criteria:
?? Female candidates only
?? 2-5 years of relevant experience in sports, education, community development, or adolescent programs
?? Must know how to drive a scooty and own a personal scooty
?? Must own a personal laptop
?? Strong communication and coordination skills
?? Passion for working with girls and communities
