The organization actively works with rural communities, Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), youth groups, and vulnerable populations in Bihar to strengthen local leadership and community development systems.

Project Description:-
Project Tittle:- Youth Leadership Program
Project Goal:- To empower rural youth with leadership and life skills, reduce antisocial behaviour, and promote active citizenship through youth clubs, mentoring, and community action for safer, healthier, and cohesive villages.

Job Description
The Program Coordinator will lead the implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of the Youth Leadership Program at the field level. The coordinator will work closely with youth facilitators, Panchayats, schools, government departments, and community stakeholders to ensure effective execution of project activities.
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for planning field activities, supporting youth clubs, supervising project staff, organizing trainings and events, documenting progress, and ensuring achievement of project objectives and outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities of Program Coordinator
1. Lead overall implementation of the Youth Leadership Program in Teghra Block
2. Facilitate formation and strengthening of Youth Clubs in project villages
3. Organize leadership, life skills, and civic engagement training sessions for youth
4. Mentor youth leaders and peer educators for community-based initiatives
5. Promote youth participation in village development and social action activities
6. Build strong relationships with Panchayats, schools, NYK, PHC, local administration, and community leaders
7. Coordinate with government departments and local institutions for convergence and support
8. Maintain project documentation, attendance records, meeting reports, and case studies
9. Prepare monthly and quarterly narrative and progress reports
10. Ensure gender-sensitive and inclusive approaches in all project activities
11. Maintain ZERO TOLERANCE towards PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) and POSH violations
12. Ensure safe participation spaces for girls and vulnerable youth
Financial & Administrative Support

Qualification & Essential Requirements
1. Fluent in Hindi and English
2. Master in Social Work (MSW), MA Sociology or equivalent qualification
3. 3-4 years' experience in a non-governmental, non-profit and/or local organization is preferable
4. Excellent organizational, logistical, and communication skills
5. Good knowledge of local cultural context and community dynamics
6. Strong understanding of youth development and community mobilization
7. Gender-sensitive and cohesive approach to work
8. ZERO TOLERANCE towards PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) & POSH violations
9. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Remuneration: - Rs. 28,000 - 30,000 per month depending upon competencies and experience of the candidate (including HRA, PF, and other applicable benefits).
