ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POSTS OF IT MANAGER
NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, a premier institution of national eminence in legal education and research is looking for qualified persons for the positions of IT Manager who can manage the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure of the University.
No. of positions: Two (2)
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology, or a related field.
Preference will be given to applicants with
- Master’s degree holders
- Management degree from reputed institutions
- Professional with managerial experience of minimum 5+ years of ICT infrastructure in an academic institution / university / company
- Additional certifications acquired in the related fields.
Expected Engagement and Management of ICT requirements at NALSAR:
Management of Educational Resources
- Implementation and administration of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems covering Admissions, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Examinations, Administration, Human Resources, and Accounts
- Creation, deployment, and maintenance of audio-visual (AV) resources
- Planning and organization of ICT-enabled training and capacity-building programmes
IT Infrastructure Maintenance
- Maintenance of hardware and end-user computing devices
- Management and support of institutional software systems
- Installation and monitoring of CCTV and surveillance systems
- Ensuring cyber security and data protection measures
- Providing in-house technical support services
IT Services Management
- Planning, implementation and ongoing management of campus-wide IT requirements
- Ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and institutional IT standards
- Oversight of institutional website maintenance and updates
- Coordination and management of vendor relationships
- Procurement of IT-related equipment and services
- IT asset tracking and lifecycle management
- Development and enforcement of internal IT policies and procedures
- Server administration and management
Employment Type & Remuneration: Full-Time Contractual position with consolidated pay of Rs.1,50,000/- p.m. Salary is negotiable and is no constraint for people with relevant experience and qualifications.
