BHS is incubating a Center for Primary Health Care to generate knowledge; build partnerships and strengthen advocacy for improving healthcare of the marginalized.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build a supportive and nurturing environment for nurses working at BHS.
- Capacity building of the primary healthcare nurses through training, mentoring, and supervision.
- Conduct post-training follow-ups and provide continuous clinical and operational support to nurses at AMRIT Clinics and other BHS healthcare facilities.
- Support nurses in delivering quality clinical nursing care and maintaining patient-centered services.
- Prepare training materials, learning aids, SOPs, and curriculum for primary healthcare nurses.
- Develop leadership skills among senior nurses and clinic nurse lead (nurse coordinators) through structured training and mentorship.
- Support clinic nurse lead (nurse coordinators) in effectively managing AMRIT Clinics in alignment with BHS values and standards.
- Conduct facility audits, prescription audits, and quality assessments across AMRIT Clinics.
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols, biomedical waste management, and standard clinical practices.
- Monitor day-to-day clinic operations, reporting systems, inventory coordination, staff scheduling, and service delivery processes.
- Coordinate with operations and program teams to ensure smooth functioning of clinics and timely issue resolution.
- Document, analyze, and present experiences and best practices of nurses and midwives in primary healthcare.
- Represent the organization in external meetings, workshops, and healthcare forums.
Whom are we looking for?
We are looking for interested colleague with suitable academic (BSc Nursing/GNM) and professional (worked for at-least 3-4 years in community settings) experience to join. Experience in training, guidance or supervisory roles is a must.
Location: The position is located in Gogunda (30KM form Udaipur, district), with frequent travel and stay in field areas of South Rajasthan.
Remuneration: Commensurate with experience, benchmarked with other organizations of the sector
