ASCI is an autonomous body working as Sector Skill Council under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), dedicated to enhancing vocational education and creating National Occupational Standards (NOS) for agriculture and allied sectors. Our mission involves promoting employment, facilitating government skilling initiatives and organizing Rozgar Melas in collaboration with diverse stakeholders. ASCI also functions as the apex body for skill development in the Agriculture and Allied Sectors and is recognized as an Awarding Body by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).
In past 13 years, ASCI has trained & certified approximately 1.6 million workforces comprising of farmers, wage workers, entrepreneurs and extension workers across Pan India under the different schemes and domain of agriculture and allied segments.
Job Description: The job requires the Manager to handle the operations pertaining to training and assessments
• Facilitation and Coordination with Training Providers Both Govt and Pvt for timely uploading of data on Skill India Portal
• CRM & PRM: For efficient execution of the planned program for achieving project Goals.
• Documentation & Record keeping: Maintaining records of entire training and assessment related database
• Spearheading liasoning and grievance Redressal mechanism of stakeholders in the skill ecosystem
• Collection, analysis and management of important data/ statistics related to skill ecosystem
• Coordination with different government departments/ Pvt partners for smooth conduct of training on ground
• Development of manuals, SOPs, reports as per the requirement of schemes/ ministry
• Provide necessary approval for training delivery plan, courses, schemes on Skill India Portal
• Fund Raising & Business Development from Govt and Private organisations
• Support in implementation of the projects- Govt/CSR/fee based etc
• Development of Technical Specifications viz. Infrastructure requirement, Tools & Equipment and timely upload on Skill India Portal
• Real time Monitoring of Training and assessments and report the findings to the authority
• SPOC for PMKVY assessment, A flagship scheme of MSDE
• Work closely with Assessment Agencies (AA) pertaining to timely execution of assessments
• Real time monitoring of assessments and coordination with AAs for smooth execution
• SIDH & DBMS: Management of data on Skill India Digital Hub and Internal “Database Management System” portal
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders (including customers, Assessment Practice Team, Operations)
• Nomination of Assessment Agency against uploaded batches on Skill Indi Portal
• Timely invoicing and collection of payment from respective stakeholders
• Ensure timely upload and approval of Assessment results on Skill India Portal
• Timely execution of all the assessment activities on Skill India Portal
• Additional task as per organizational requirement
Key Performance Indicators and Competencies:
• Strong Communication Skills and English language proficiency, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle complex assignment independently
• Excellent command on MS Excel and Power Point
• Meticulous, process oriented and attention to details with strong analytical abilities
• Plans, manages and drives own efforts to successfully deliver the output within stipulated time
• Fund Raising & Business Development
• Ability to work closely with fellow leadership team members, and brainstorm with them
• Excellent leadership and administrative skills, including ability to manage multiple programme at a time, without supervision
• Clarity of purpose and intent of working in the intersection of agriculture and vocation space
• Excellent planning and organizing skills and the ability to analyze complex qualitative and quantitative data, craft possible solutions and recommend actions
Educational Qualification:
Post Graduate in Agriculture or Allied Sector or Agriculture Extension or Agribusiness Preferably from IRMA/MANAGE/NIAM/Vamnicom and IIPM or any other reputed Agribusiness Management Institution
Experience (no. of years & kind): 5-6 Years of similar experience working in Agriculture related industries after Post-Graduation
SALARY: Up to 10 lacs depending upon experience plus Medical and Gratuity benefits
