Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI):
ASCI is an autonomous body working as Sector Skill Council under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), dedicated to enhancing vocational education and creating National Occupational Standards (NOS) for agriculture and allied sectors. Our mission involves promoting employment, facilitating government skilling initiatives and organizing Rozgar Melas in collaboration with diverse stakeholders. ASCI also functions as the apex body for skill development in the Agriculture and Allied Sectors and is recognized as an Awarding Body by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).

In past 13 years, ASCI has trained & certified approximately 1.6 million workforces comprising of farmers, wage workers, entrepreneurs and extension workers across Pan India under the different schemes and domain of agriculture and allied segments.

Job Description

The role requires the Manager – Social Media Management to lead ASCI’s social media outreach, digital communication, branding, and online engagement activities for awareness generation, stakeholder engagement, and promotion of agriculture skill development initiatives.
• Social Media Management: Manage ASCI’s social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other digital channels.
• Content Planning & Development: Develop social media calendars, digital campaigns, awareness content, infographics, reels, videos, presentations, and communication materials.
• Digital Campaign Management: Design and execute online campaigns for training programs, events, workshops, mobilization drives, stakeholder engagement, and branding initiatives.
• Brand Communication: Ensure consistency in organizational branding, communication standards, messaging, and visual identity across digital platforms.
• Creative Coordination: Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, agencies, photographers, and content creators for quality digital outputs.
• Website & Communication Support: Assist in website updates, newsletters, announcements, event promotions, and digital communication activities.
• Analytics & Reporting: Monitor social media engagement, campaign analytics, audience growth, digital reach, and prepare periodic performance reports.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Support communication and outreach with industries, government departments, training partners, beneficiaries, and media stakeholders.
• Online Reputation Management: Monitor online presence, audience interactions, and support timely responses and engagement activities.
• Additional Tasks: Any other responsibilities assigned by the organization from time to time.

Key Performance Indicators and Competencies
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and English writing skills.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and branding strategies.
• Experience in content development, campaign management, and digital engagement.
• Proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint, social media tools, and basic creative applications.
• Basic understanding of video editing, graphic designing, and online advertising tools will be preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities for interpreting digital metrics and campaign performance.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and trend awareness.
• Ability to independently manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.

Educational Qualification
• Post Graduate or Graduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Media Studies, MBA (Marketing/Communication), Public Relations, Development Communication, or Allied Sector.
• Candidates from reputed institutes/universities such as Indian Institute of Mass Communication, MICA, Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Amity University, Lovely Professional University, or other reputed institutions will be preferred.

Experience (no. of years & kind)
4–6 years of relevant experience in social media management, digital communication, branding, content strategy, or digital campaign management.

Experience in skilling, education, agriculture, CSR, or development sector projects will be preferred.

SALARY: CTC: Rs 8 Lakhs to Rs 10 Lakhs per annum (depending upon experience and suitability).
