ASCI is an autonomous body working as Sector Skill Council under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), dedicated to enhancing vocational education and creating National Occupational Standards (NOS) for agriculture and allied sectors. Our mission involves promoting employment, facilitating government skilling initiatives and organizing Rozgar Melas in collaboration with diverse stakeholders. ASCI also functions as the apex body for skill development in the Agriculture and Allied Sectors and is recognized as an Awarding Body by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).
In past 13 years, ASCI has trained & certified approximately 1.6 million workforces comprising of farmers, wage workers, entrepreneurs and extension workers across Pan India under the different schemes and domain of agriculture and allied segments.
Job Description: The role requires the Executives – Monitoring of Training and Assessment Programs to support monitoring, coordination, reporting, and operational management of training and assessment activities under various Government, CSR, and fee-based skill development projects implemented by ASCI.
• Training Monitoring: Monitor ongoing training programs across various locations to ensure adherence to project guidelines, quality standards, and operational timelines.
• Assessment Coordination: Coordinate with assessment agencies, training partners, trainers, and candidates for smooth conduct of assessments and certification activities.
• Data Collection & Verification: Collect, verify, and maintain training and assessment-related data, attendance records, photographs, reports, and supporting documentation.
• MIS & Reporting: Update MIS portals, maintain databases, prepare progress reports, trackers, dashboards, and other project-related documentation.
• Field Coordination: Coordinate with Training Centres, NGOs, implementation partners, trainers, and field teams for operational support and issue resolution.
• Compliance Support: Ensure training centres and programs comply with ASCI guidelines, project requirements, documentation protocols, and assessment standards.
• Monitoring Visits: Conduct field visits for monitoring training centres, infrastructure, classroom activities, mobilization efforts, and assessment processes.
• Documentation & Communication: Support preparation of presentations, case studies, meeting minutes, utilization documents, and official communications.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Assist in coordination with government departments, assessment bodies, training partners, and project stakeholders.
• Additional Tasks: Any other responsibilities assigned by the organization from time to time.
Key Performance Indicators and Competencies:
• Good communication and coordination skills with working proficiency in English and Hindi.
• Basic understanding of skill development ecosystem and vocational training programs.
• Good command over MS Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
• Process-oriented approach with attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in team-based environments.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to travel for field monitoring, centre visits, and assessments.
• Ability to manage data, analyze reports, and support operational decision-making.
Educational Qualification:
Graduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture, Rural Management, Agribusiness, Development Studies, Management, Social Work from Agriculture and Allied Sector.
Experience (no. of years & kind):
Freshers to 2 years of relevant experience in training coordination, project monitoring, MIS management, field operations, assessment coordination, or skill development projects.
Fresh graduates with strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills are encouraged to apply.
